Anselmo Robles is an industrial automation engineer with more than 17 years of experience in industrial automation, IIoT and Industry 4.0. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Automation and Control from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and an engineering degree in Industrial Maintenance. He is a certified vNode Fundamentals specialist (Vester Industrial Training Center).
At Vester Business S.L. — the developer of vNode — he works on industrial IoT gateway software that connects plant-floor OT devices (PLCs, SCADA, sensors, RTUs) to IT and cloud systems. His writing focuses on the practical side of industrial connectivity: OPC UA and Modbus integration, MQTT and Sparkplug B, edge computing, and OT/IT convergence for engineers and plant managers.
